This concert which took place on Friday night (30 Nov) in Cois na hAbhna featured some of the best young traditional musicians, groups and ceilí bands from the Ennis, Barefield area including All-Ireland winners from this year’s Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Tullamore. The concert was be followed by a lively traditional session in the bar.

- Cois na hAbhna Fiddle, Box & Banjo Workshops - Next Saturday

Cois na hAbhna hosts a day of top class traditional music workshops with Paul Brock (accordion), Enda Scahill (banjo) and Ryan Molloy (fiddle) on Saturday, 24th November. These cater for all levels of ability from beginner/improver to advanced. Workshops start from 9.15am and continue throughout the day until 3.30pm. A concert featuring the Workshop musicians takes place at 8.30pm and concessionary tickets at €10 are available to all workshop participants

Drumshanbo Comhaltas, Co. Leitrim are delighted to announce the dates for the 2nd Annual Packie Duignan week-end. The festival of traditional music, song and dance will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 25th, 26th, 27th January 2008.
