Comhaltas have released a statement on the recent independent Funding Review on the Development Programme of Comhaltas Ceolóirí Éireann. Comhaltas has passed with flying colours, and the position with respect to the Clasaċ centre in Clontarf has also been fully supported by the independent report.

The North American Concert Tour which visits 10 Canadian cities during October 2009 is now in full swing. The Comhaltas Concert Tour group featuring veteran Cork singer, Seán Ó Sé plus top Irish traditional musicians and dancers, started out in Shannon, Quebec with an exciting show of traditional Irish music, song and dance. It’s now blazing a trail through Eastern Canada winding up in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Saturday, 10th October.
