All-Ireland Fleadh Results 2007
27 Lúnasa 2007, 3:08 PM GMT
After a fantastic weekend down in Tullamore, I’m delighted to post the results of the competitions held at the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2007. There’s more to a Fleadh than competition, certainly; sessions, teaching, lectures, friendship and concerts are just part of the attraction. But the competitors listed here — who have now prevailed at their local, regional and now international level — they deserve a warm round of applause and some serious respect for the time and energy that they have put into their performances. Well Done!

Hello, Great to see that the results are posted so quickly. Unfortunately there is a problem opening this file - reading error. I usually do not have an issue opening or reading pdf files so I wonder is there an issue with the file itself?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Tara

My apologies - I lost my internet connection while I was posting the PDF and the file did not complete. And here I was trying to be as fast as possible by posting while I was actually on a train from Tullamore! I’ve fixed the link.—Breandán

Diarmuid, Willie Fogarty was taping the Senior Ceílí Bands for ComhaltasLive (with 2 cameras, even!), so I’d expect to see most of the performances, including the winning ones, in upcoming programmes. Just give us a bit of time to edit! —Breandán

May I add my congratulations to all concerned in Tullamore for organising the 2007 Fleadh. I have passed through Tullamore many time, but never realised the extent of it. It was a great venue and well able to cater for the crowds. One little point. Try and organise a pub for us singers.

Fantastic Fleadh Ceoil, ideal venue, very well organised! Will definately be returning next year. If ye could manage to arrange better weather for 2009, that would be greatly appreciated!

I downloaded the pdf file but it appears to be empty. Got the same result on two PC’s , so I don’t think the problem is on my end. Regards, Graham Smyth
