Fleadh Cheoil An Chláir 2010   Kilfenora

For the second successive year, the Co. Clare Fleadh Cheoil will be held in Kilfenora from Thursday, 17th to Monday, 21st June.

Competitions for most solo and group performers will start at 9.30 on Saturday and Sunday. A small fee is payable for attendance. Alongside these, other musical events include

Ceilithe with the Tulla, Four Courts and Star of Munster Céilí Bands

Open air concert / céilí (Sunday) with competition winners and the Kilfenora Céilí Band

Sessions featuring many of Clare’s finest musicians and singers

The running order of events is as follows.

Wednesday 16 June Linnanes Pub Members of the old Kilfenora Céilí Band (9.30pm)

Thursday 17 June Vaughans Barn Céilí with the Four Courts Céilí Band (9.30pm, €5)

Linnanes Pub Music session (from approx 9.30pm)

Friday 18 June Burren Centre ‘Riches of Clare’ concert with Jackie Daly, Ado Morris, Henry Benagh & Bernadette McCarthy (1.00

Linnanes Pub Singers night, compered by Joe O’Connor (9.30pm)

Kilfenora Hall Céilí with the Star of Munster Céilí Band (10pm- 1.00 am, €10)
