Welcome to Kilfenora for the Clare County Fleadh!!

Come and join musicians from all over Clare in what will be a very memorable Fleadh in the North Clare town of Kilfenora. In 2009 the town celebrates not only the re-establishment of a very vibrant Branch of Comhaltas but also the centenary of the founding of the world renowned Kilfenora Céilí Band in 1909! See members of this legendary céilí band on Wednesday night in Linnane’s Bar and also again on Saturday night where they will provide music for dancers in the Community Hall.

Anyone who appreciates the music of County Clare will also be familiar with another renowned band, the one and only Tulla Céilí Band. The Tulla will be in action on Friday night in the Community Hall.

In addition to competitions on all traditional instruments, including solo, duet, trio, groups and céilí bands plus traditional singing and dancing other activities will take place in the town as follows:-
