CCÉ, Teampall an Ghleanntáin will host “Macalla na hÉireann” – the Concert Tour of Ireland organised by Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann in Halla Inse Bán, Templeglantine, Co. Limerick on Tuesday night, October 23rd starting at 8 p.m. Featured on this year’s tour is local fiddle player, Eibhlin Healy from Abbeyfeale and member of CCÉ, Teampall an Ghleanntáin who has won numerous All-Ireland titles on the fiddle in both the fast and slow-air competitions; John Carrol from Effin, Co. Limerick who is a member of CCÉ, Craobh Chrónáin, Freemount in North Cork and accordionist with the Allow Céilí Band – 2007 Senior All-Ireland Céilí Band Champions and Siobháin Ní Chonaráin native of Croom and member of CCÉ, Teampall an Ghleanntáin who is a highly regarded in both Comhaltas and Irish music circles and winner of numerous All-Ireland titles is Bean a’ Tí on this year’s show as well as product of the show.
