Music, singing and dancing workshops will be held as part of the Féile Patrick Byrne in Carrickmacross. The classes are aimed at both intermediate and advanced students. Registration is 30 minutes before the workshops begin. Workshops start at 10.30am and run to 4pm each day. There is an hour break for lunch which is provided. The cost for each workshop is €25 (including lunch). The exception is the Sean Nós Dancing workshop which runs from 4-6pm on Sunday and costs €10.
Cheques should be crossed and made payable to Carrickmacross Comhaltas and returned with completed forms to Finian McCluskey, Anaverna, Castleblayney Road, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. For further information contact , 042 9662850 or 087 2396665.
All students under 18 who have registered before Saturday 4 April will receive a free ticket to the festival concert in Corduff Community Centre, Carrickmacross that evening. The concert features Téada, Grainne Hambly, Gerry Murray & Michael Horgan and Ceoltóirí Drumlin.
