The Féile Padraig Dall Ó Beirn / the Patrick Byrne traditional music weekend is being held to honour the nineteenth century Monaghan harper Patrick Byrne, “the last of the great Irish harpers” and the first Irish traditional musician ever to be photographed. The weekend will feature music, singing and dancing workshops as well as sessions and on Saturday 4 April a concert in Corduff Community Centre with Téada, Grainne Hambly, Gerry Murray & Michael Horgan and Ceoltóirí Drumlin.
