As part of this year’s Leinster Fleadh another great concert has been planned for Tuesday, 8th July in the Mill Theatre, Dundrum starring traditional group, Slide.
Slide are one of the most exciting young bands on today’s Irish traditional scene. Formed with an all-star line up of award winners including male vocalist of the year, Slide are the living proof of how innovation need not compromise tradition.
Slide have graced many of the main stages & festivals at home and abroad; from the National Concert Hall to the Cambridge Festival, England and from the headline act of the German Folk Festival Tour to the Inerceltic Festival of L’Orient, France.
Band members include:- Aogán Lynch (concertina), Daire Bracken (fiddle), Mick Broderick (bouzuki) and Éamonn de Barra (flute).
