Branch Music Classes
Music lessons are run each week by the branch by our music teachers - Danielle O’Riordan, Melissa O’Riordan, Katie Lucey and James Dillon. There are approximately sixty children in all attending these classes.
Branch History
The first branch of comhaltas formed in Ardfert was in the early 1960’s. The branch was then reformed in the 1970’s and this branch was under the name of Ardfert/Churchhill comhaltas. The present branch was formed on the 24/10/95 under the name Ardfert/Kilmoyley comhaltas. The people responsible for forming this branch were Paddy Kelly, Abbeylands and Michael O’Connor, Casement’s View. Unfortunately, Paddy Kelly passed away in October 2006 having done untold work for the branch.
