Next County Board Meeting

The next meeting of Cork County Board will be held on Wednesday, February 17th in Coolcower House, Macroom at 8.30pm. Please ensure you branch is represented at the meeting

Ceol an Geimhridh 2010

The Munster Finals of Ceol an Geimhridh take place in Cappamore, Co. Limerick on Sunday, January 24th. Best of luck to all Cork qualifiers in the Munster Finals

Fleadh Cheoil Chorcai 2010

The County Fleadh will return to Skibbereen for the first time since 1998. Plans for underway for what promises to be a great Fleadh in the heart of West Cork

Munster Fleadh 2011

2011 is Cork’s turn to host the Munster Fleadh. Niall O’Chathasaigh CCE has been confirmed as the host branch for the Munster Fleadh 2011 which will take place in Ballincollig in July 2011. The town has wonderful facilities and an energetic and innovative committee which should ensure a superb Munster Fleadh which all of Cork can be proud of. More details to follow.

Rebel success at the Fleadh Cheoil

Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, one of the largest traditional music events in the world, was held in Tullamore last weekend. The town catered for over 200,000 people who attended events that featured in excess of 10,000 musicians. Those from Cork certainly didn’t hide in the shadows as the sun helped celebrate the success of Corks finest musicians.
