Dún Uladh Cultural Heritage Centre has been made a Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann Regional Resource Centre. Dún Uladh will be the regional headquarters for a ‘Meitheal Region’ incorporating counties Antrim, Derry, Donegal. Down and Tyrone, from where the organisation will manage and administer its development programme.

Dún Uladh ‘Fort of Ulster’ is a cultural Heritage centre at the heart of Ulster, sitting at the foothills of the Sperrins. The centre is used as a cultural base for locals and visitors to the region, for the study and celebration of native Irish music, song, dance, language, and all Celtic arts. It has a theatre, bar, conference facilities, restaurant, shop and other amenities.

Dún Uladh traditional group have performed widely; they have played for President McAleese and other distinguished guests, they have performed for conferences and other events including the opening of the Strule Arts Theatre and Omagh St. Patrick’s Day Festival.

The centre has a traditional music session every Saturday night.

Opening times:- Mid June-Mid Sept: Daily, 09.00-17.30, shows Sat. at 21.00
Mid Sept-Mid June: Mon-Fri, 09.00-17.00 (Sessions every saturday at 21.00

Shows (to include dinner) can be staged by prior arrangement at any time throughout the year for groups. The average visit length is 2 1/2 hours (for show)

Entrance Fees: Admission to the centre only is free, Adult £8.00 (includes show) / Child £5.00 (includes show). Rates available for show and dinner. The centre has disabled access.

The restaurant is available for Birthday parties, Christenings, Anniversaries, Conferences and Weddings.
