Our branch, which was formed on the 25th of February, 1981, is now a thriving branch with 9 teachers working with over 150 pupils. Our pupils have competed at County, Provincial and All Ireland levels in all age groups. Our goal is to bring traditional Irish music, song and dance into as many homes as possible in north Kildare.

Weekly Sessions
Our weekly session in the newly refurbished Murphy’s Pub in Leixlip is now in full swing. Please come along any Wednesday night from 9.30pm onwards to play a few tunes, or to sing a song, or just to sit back, relax and enjoy great music and singing in the lovely setting of Murphy’s Pub Leixlip.

Weekly Classes
Our first term of branch classes is now over and we wish all participants a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and we hope to see you all again in the new year for more enjoyment and learning. Below are the term dates for Spring/Summer 2010

Slow Sessions
This year, we have organised slow sessions for Beginner to Intermediate and Intermediate to Advanced levels. Both sessions will occur at the same time in The Ryevale, Leixlip. The sessions will run from 7pm to 8pm. There is no admission cost and all branch members and music learners in the area are very welcome.
