Interesting. I have several definite opinions about Aidan’s playing ... but I’m not sure that “boring” would be one of them! Jazzy, non-traditional, stylised, maybe even over-the-top ... but not boring. At least for me.—Cheers, Breandán

Ooh, lovely! Made my evening, in fact. I could listen to a lot of him.
(Nice to see the site profiled on Ellislabs.com, btw.)

The experience of playing music with Aidan Burke is, for me, one full of excitement, curiosity and surprise. His recordings and live performances coupled with his willingness to share music with other musicians in just about any setting have earned him great respect… A natural musician, skilled to a level well worthy of the status he currently enjoys. What more can be expected of anyone?

there is something missing in Aidan’s playing, it seems that he can’t find the real blast of irish music, there is something lost…
it’s because of people like him that the enchanted music of ireland, the great music of the bards is long ago buried.

Boring! boring! boring!
