First, representing Britain, the Leeds Céilí Band with a selection of jigs, and then a hornpipe. They were recorded at the All-Ireland Senior Céilí Band competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2006 in Letterkenny.

Very nice to see some familiar faces though a couple of “members” aren’t actually from Leeds.

The tunes are:
The Pipe on the Hob / The Spider’s Web
The Pleasure of Hope

Some lesser-known Vincent Broderick tunes, including The Spider’s Web, have been popularised in Leeds.
