A selection of reels from an indoor session at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2007 in Tullamore, played by Teresa Larkin from Roscrea (fiddle), Eddie Whelan from Birr (guitar), Jim Lalor from Nenagh (flute) and his brother Tom (accordion). Tom is well known for his skills in tuning and servicing accordions. Indeed, Tom made the accordion he plays in this session.

I’ll pass on the name of the 1st tune, although it sounds a little like Maquire’s Reel. The second reel is Lad O’Beirne’s. According to Peter Cooper, Lad O’Beirne was the son of Philip O’Beirne who was Michael Coleman’s teacher.
