ComhaltasLive #236 - 6: Allow Céilí Band Hornpipe at the 2007 All-Ireland
All-Ireland 2007 Champions the Allow Céilí Band play “The Flowing Tide Hornpipe”, which is this week’s tutorial. They are then presented with their trophy by the President of Comhaltas, Jim Teevan.
Band members are Meabh Buckley, Geraldine O’Callaghan and Áine O’Connell on fiddles, Gerry Nunan and William Pearse on flutes, Eimear Buckley on concertina, Adrian Mc Auliffe on banjo, John Carroll on button accordion, Pat Mulcahy on drums and Clodagh Buckley on piano.

Thank you ever so much for providing this service that is inspiring and uplifting. I live in rural MI, the US, and rarely have the priviledge to attend concerts. I began playing traditional music over 30 years ago and could find few people to play with, so Comhaltas has meant much to me over the years. (I learned about it from Liz Carroll and Billy McComiskey). I look forward to these daily videos, especially the harp performances. Merry Christmas, Joan

I sense all this wonderful music passing me by. What do I need to be able to see the players on video? I am disabled and I cannot actually get to my nearset comhaltas, which is in Glasgow, to ask questions about how to access the videos I keep reading about but cannot watch. However, I wrote two emails to you today including this one and I hope that you will take pity on me and send me some information.
