were they after a hard night out or something..they look as bored as hell! my god make some effort to smile or show some sort of enjoyment at least. so depressing even if the music is ok.

Dimarco, to me they just look contemplative ... certainly the playing is first class. The aesthetic of Irish traditional music doesn’t require “stage smiles”—at least, the real stuff doesn’t ...—Breandán

there is no such thing as an adult concertina. he is playing an anglo concertina (there is also english concertinas as well). anglos come in 20 button to start, then 26 button. the least you need to play irish music in the keys we play today is 26. then the standard is 30. micheal’s seems to have 36 buttons, not counting the air button and a drone if it has one. so looks like no one wins the bet

I would like to be able to identify which tunes are best for learning on the bosca ceoil, C#/D. How?
I’m sure players of other instruments would appreciate that information also.
