This week we bring you music from the West Limerick 102 Radio Concert in held in November 2007 at Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick. Featured are the Mulcahy and Murphy families, a trio of Pádraig King, Jeremy Spenser and Clodogh Buckley, along with the playing of the Allow Céilí Band.

Segment Description
1 A selection of reels including “The Maids of Castlebar”, “The Humours of Castlefin” and “The Templehouse” played by the Mulcahy family from Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick at the West Limerick 102 Radio Concert in November 2007. All three are multi-instrumentalists and here Mick plays accordion, Louise plays concert flute and Michelle is on fiddle.
2 Next up, another trio with Pádraig King on button accordion, Jeremy Spenser on fiddle and Clodagh Buckley on piano. They play a selection of jigs concluding with “The Spotted Dog” which was composed by concert flute player Catherine McEvoy.
3 All-Ireland Senior Céili Band Champions, “The Allow” Céili Band play a set of four reels: “Lucy Campbell”, “The Mountain Top”, “The Reel of Bogie” (which is this weeks tutorial) and “Greig’s Pipes”. 
4 We conclude with three generations of the Murphy family from Abbeyfeale. The group is led by Donal, who is well known as the accordion player with the group “Four Men and a Dog”. In this selection of jigs, Donal is first joined by his young daughter Melanie on fiddle and later by his father Dan on accordion, his sister Eilish on flute and brothers Kevin and Séan on banjo and bouzouki. The jigs are: “Anthony Frawley’s”, “An Seanduine” and “Out on the Ocean”. CDs and DVDs  of the full concert in Abbeyfeale in November 2007 will be available at the end of April.
