ComhaltasLive #256: Music from Fleadhanna (Full Programme)

This week we present music from several fleadhanna, conventions and events around the world, including the 2004 Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, North American Convention and Fleadh Nua, and the 2007 Munster Fleadh.

00:00 Dublin button accordionist Donal Regan plays two reels: “Paddy Mill’s” and “The Maids of Castlebar”, joined on harp by Eileen Gannon from St. Louis, USA. Incidentally, Eileen features on a recently-released CD called “P.J. Gannon, Harmonica and Harp”. The recording features slow airs and Irish recitations by her father P.J., who won the All-Ireland on mouth-organ in 1981 and 1982.
