00:00 Three reels: “Trip to London”, “Down the Broom” and “Kitty Goes a’ Milking” played by tin whistle player Clodagh Holland from Eglish, Co. Tyrone. This recording was made at the Ulster Fleadh in Warrepoint, Co. Down in July 2004 and the last reel is this week’s tutorial.
03:58 Comhaltas Youth Officer for the Ulster province, Ashling McPhillips from Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh plays a set of jigs, ending with “Tommy Mulhaire’s.”
06:22 Piano accordion player Dean Warner plays a set of reels, ending with “The Sandymount”. Originally from Leeds, England, Dean now lives near Lurgan, Co. Armagh.
09:01 From Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh, Padraig Swift plays two jigs on concert flute. Padraig learned his music from Aishling McPhillips and Majella Bartley.
11:27 A set of reels from fiddle player Rosie Ferguson from Newry, Co. Down. Rosie learned the three reels from the CD “Killin’ Clocks” by Sligo fiddler Philip Duffy.
15:20 Two reels: “Limerick Lassies” and a Northern Ireland version of “The Maid Behind the Bar”, played on fiddle by Eimear Reilly from Drumcalpin, Co. Cavan. Eimear learned her music from current All-Ireland senior fiddle champion Laura Beagon.
