ComhaltasLive #271-5: Niall Keegan, Gary Lynch and Pete Staunton
Next we present three more of the seventy tutors at Scoil Éigse 2008: Niall Keegan from the University of Limerick on flute, Gary Lynch from Co. Fermanagh on fiddle and Peter Staunton from Dublin on button accordion. They play a set of reels: “Morning Star”, “Love at the Endings” composed by Ed Reavy, which is this week’s tutorial, and then “Morning Star” in a different key.

Wow, someone is way out of tune - could it be the flute I wonder? Overblowing as usual by Mr Niall Keegan.
Very non-musical music!

It’s clear that this guy with the yellow shirt on the left really loves what he does. I don’t know if there is anything appropriate to call him besides “Adam lovin”.

Gary Lynch is from Fermanagh. Great fiddle player.
