From CCÉ Ballymote, Co. Sligo, Caoimhe Kearns plays a jig in the Under-18 fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2008. Caoimhe’s aunt Deirdre Collis won All-Ireland Senior titles in the 1980s on button accordion, concert flute and whistle.

Caoimhe is just a beautiful fiddle player who has the lot at such a young age. Her aunt is one of my favourate tin whistle players of all time so you cant beat breeding. Well done Caoimhe brilliant!!
