ComhaltasLive #287-4: Ned Kelly and Michael Harrison

A duet by two All-Ireland champions from Co. Nenagh, Co. Tipperary: Ned Kelly (1992 winner) on button accordion and Michael Harrison on fiddle (2005). They play three jigs - the first from the playing of concertina player Mícheál Ó Raghallaigh, “Paddy Fahy’s”, and “The Hole in the Hedge”. Michael is grandson of famed East Galway fiddle player Aggie White.

First one is “the hawthorn hedge” composed by Séan Ryan. It’s recorded on Mícheál O’Raghallaigh’s first solo recording “The nervous man”
