The late Florina Doyle from Castlebar, Co. Mayo, one of Joe Burke’s many pupils, played this selection of reels on the 14th of August, 2004. The tunes are “Last Night’s Fun” and “The Traveler”. Sadly, after a short illness, Florina subsequently passed away while still only in her teenage years.

Mike Rafferty on concert flute from New Jersey, USA, his daughter Mary on button accordion and her husband Donal Clancy on guitar, play two reels associated with Mike’s native Balinakill, Co. Galway, from where he emigrated about 60 years ago. Mike calls the tune “The Hills of Lurriga” and “The Private Ass and Cart”. Recorded in New Jersey in 2004.
