Two jigs played on flute by Laurence Nugent, originally from Lack, Co. Fermanagh and residing in Chicago, USA for the last fifteen years. Before that, Laurence lived in New York. the tunes are called “The Ballyhugh Jigs” and were composed by Fintan McManus, originally from Fermanagh and now residing in Belturbet, Co. Cavan.

Galway, from where he emigrated about 60 years ago. Mike calls the tune “The Hills of Lurriga” and “The Private Ass and Cart”. Recorded in New Jersey in 2004.
