The 39th Annual Scoil Éigse takes place in Cavan Town, Co. Cavan from August 14th to 19th, 2011.
Tuigtear go bhfuil cúrsaí oideachais lárnach do bheartais agus obair an Chomhaltais agus CCÉ ag saothrú an Chultúir Ghaelaigh in Éirinn agus thar lear.
Educational initiatives have been central to the policies and work of CCÉ as it focused on promoting the Cultural Traditions of Ireland at home and abroad. Focusing on Irish traditional music, singing and dancing agus an Ghaeilge, Scoil Éigse, which has preceded Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann since 1972, provides a broad-based cultural educational experience for Irish and overseas students of all ages, their families and the general public.

Tuition, by highly experienced teachers, is provided in the following appropriately- graded classes:
- Fiddle
- Flute
- Button Accordion
- Harp
- Uilleann Pipes
- Concertina
- Whistle
- Piano
- Accordion
- Banjo
- Piano-Accompaniment
- Amhránaíocht
- Traditional Singing
- Comhrá Gaeilge
- Céilí/Set-Dancing.
- Sean-nós dancing
- Adult music class (mixed-instrument)
Applicants will receive information on registration and grading procedures, a map of the venues (all in close proximity to each other) and the Éigse Schedule prior to the event.
