From Australia to Argentina, Japan to Dubai, across 5 continents, Comhaltas is facilitating a tangible connection back to Ireland for many people overseas and is growing Ireland’s cultural potential around the globe.

Ciarán Fitzgerald, a member of CCÉ Craobh Bheartla Uí Fhlatharta with Ambassador Maruyama and Uachtarán CCÉ Éamonn Ó hArgáin at a reception hosted by the Ambassador at the Embassy of Japan.

Ciarán who is a multi All Ireland Champion musician, the composer and conductor of MISNEACH, member of the Comhaltas National Folk Orchestra of Ireland and Scoil Éigse tutor was chosen as lead Irish delegate for the Ship for World Youth Programme which is sponsored by the Japanese Government and supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs.
