Ciarán Fitzgerald, a member of CCÉ Craobh Bheartla Uí Fhlatharta with Ambassador Maruyama and Uachtarán CCÉ Éamonn Ó hArgáin at a reception hosted by the Ambassador at the Embassy of Japan.

Ciarán who is a multi All Ireland Champion musician, the composer and conductor of MISNEACH, member of the Comhaltas National Folk Orchestra of Ireland and Scoil Éigse tutor was chosen as lead Irish delegate for the Ship for World Youth Programme which is sponsored by the Japanese Government and supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs.

Fógraíodh Loch Garman mar ionad ‘Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2025’ taréis cruinniú Ardchomhairle an Chomhaltais inniu. 

The Ardchomhairle of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann has announced that Wexford has been selected as the venue for the Comhaltas Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2025. The announcement to award Wexford the Fleadh for the second year in succession was made following a meeting of CCÉ’s Ardchomhairle at Cultúrlann na hÉireann, Monkstown over the weekend.
