After a fantastic weekend down in Tullamore, I’m delighted to post the results of the competitions held at the [Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2007](http://www.fleadh2007.com “Fleadh 2007”). There’s more to a Fleadh than competition, certainly; sessions, teaching, lectures, friendship and concerts are just part of the attraction. But the competitors listed here — who have now prevailed at their local, regional and now international level — they deserve a warm round of applause and some serious respect for the time and energy that they have put into their performances.
