Sad news of the death last night of Dessie Collis at the Hospice, Sligo. Reposing at Foley’s Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo today Tuesday from 5.30-7.00pm. Removal tomorrow Wednesday to St. Anne’s Church, Sligo for 11.00am Mass. Burial afterwards. CCE guard of honour both before and after Mass outside St. Anne’s Church.
Dessie was a former member of the Ard Chomhairle.
