Seisiun an Sciobairin International Tour to St Louis

Skibbereen Comhaltas – From June 25th - July 7th, Seisiún an Sciobairín, a group of 25 musicians, singers and dancers from Skibbereen, Co. Cork will travel to St Louis, Missouri, USA as guests of St Louis Irish Arts. This is the second visit by Seisiún an Sciobairín to St Louis, the inaugural trip taking place in 2006. During the visit to St Louis, the group will promote and advance the Irish traditional Arts, by conducting a series of workshops, teaching Irish music, songs and dances to the members of St Louis Irish Arts. The group will also perform a major concert in the Sheldon Concert Hall, St. Louis, at which the group will record a joint CD with St Louis Irish Arts for sale in both the USA and in Ireland. The group wishes to acknowledge the support of Culture Ireland and Imagine Ireland
