At the Comhaltas Ceolteoiri Carraig Mhachaire Rois Annual General Meeting held in the Emmet Centre on 19th October, the following Officers were elected to committee: Chairperson Seamus Finnegan, Vice-Chairperson Eamonn Sewell, Secretary Martina Duffy, Vice-Secretary Finian McCluskey, Treasurer Breen Jackson, Auditor Vera Keyes, PRO Denise O’Callaghan, Treoraí na Gaeilge Mícheál Mac Suibhne and Youth Officer Áine Flanagan. Events to look forward to over the coming year include the launch of a new CD in November in association with Tullycorbet Comhaltas, a Christmas session in December, the annual Pancake Supper in February, the Feile Patrick Byrne on 26-28 March and the Fleadh Ceoil in May. Music classes for both adults and children continue to run weekly.
