[Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann](http://www.fleadh2007.com “Fleadh Cheoil 2007 Website”), one of the biggest annual cultural festivals in Europe, will be hosted in August 2007 by Tullamore, Co. Offaly for the first time. The Brady family from Killeigh are one of the many great contributors to the rich heritage of traditional music and culture in the county over the years. John Brady, flute player and composer, led the famous Longridge Ceílí Band to three All-Ireland titles in 1977, 1978 and 1982. His daughter Attracta, fiddle player and teacher is chairperson of the Fleadh organising committee. Commencing this week’s programme, John and Attracta play a selection of Reels: “The Galway Reel” and “Castle Kelly”. Guitar accompaniment is by John O’Connell from Durrow, Co. Offaly.
