Well known concert flute player Garry Shannon plays “The Independence Hornpipe” followed by “The Sligo Polka”. Garry is co-ordinator of the [Meitheal Residential Summer School 2007](http://comhaltas.ie/events/detail/meitheal_residential_summer_school_2007/ “Meitheal Summer School”) which takes place in Limerick City from 16th to 20th of July. Participants from Ireland and overseas experience eight days of total immersion in all aspects of the music under the guidance of eight internationally renowned tutors. On Friday 20th July the final concert of tutors and participants takes place in the Millenium Theatre, Limerick.
