This week, we continue with the tutors’ concert from Scoil Éigse at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2007. The jigs were composed by Attracta’s father, John, and called “The Twins’ Delight” and “McIntyre’s”. Guitar accompaniment is by John O’Connell. 03:09 | Fiddle player Attracta Brady continues with three reels, beginning with “[Dinny O’Brien’s](http://comhaltas.ie/music/detail/dinny_obriens_reel “Dinny O’Brien’s Reel – Notation”)” composed by the great Paddy O’Brien in honour of his father Dinny during the 1940s. The other reels are “Maudabawn Chapel” composed by Ed Reavy and “The Reel of Skahóg” by John Brady. 07:26 | A fiddle and uilleann pipes duet by Paula Regan and Mickey Smith with a selection of jigs concluding with “The Trip To Athlone”. 11:22 | A selection of four reels played by Mícheál Ó Raghallaigh (concertina) and Danny O’Mahoney (button accordion). Incidentally, a memorial concert in honour of Mícheál’s late brother Felim, an outstanding musician, will be held on Friday, 9th November 2007 in the Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim, Co.
