A concert flute solo by well known Sligo musican Peter Horan – who incidentally was a guest this year at the Comhaltas North American Convention in New Jersey. Peter plays an old two-part version of “The High Level Hornpipe”, normally played as a three-part. The tune was reputedly composed in the nineteenth century by Newcastle, England fiddler James Hill. Anyone have other information on this tune? He was recorded at the [Comhaltas Regional Resource Centre in Gurteen](http://comhaltas.ie/locations/detail/coleman “Ceoláras Coleman Centre”), Co. Sligo.
