They learned the first tune from Clare concertina player Gearóid O’Halloran and they associate the second with the late Joe Liddy, fiddle player and composer from Co. Clare and flute player David O’Brien play two reels: the first was composed by John Brady and the second is “The Duke of Leinster’s Wife”.
