Cavan flute player Séamus Tierney plays two reels “Lord McDonald’s” and “Morning thrush” (James Ennis) at Macalla na hÉireann Comhaltas Tour of Ireland Concert in Brú Ború, Cashel on 23rd October 2015. Piano accompaniment is by Paul Clesham. Incidentally Séamus received the Peadar Cillín award for achieving the highest marks in Leaving Certificate Music in 2013, and took 2nd place in Senior Flute competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2015.
