All-Ireland 15-18 Banjo Champion for 2018, Colm Lawlor from Thurles, Co. Tipperary, plays a Hornpipe – “Fly by night” – which he learned from the playing of Gavin Strappe. Recorded at the Comóradh Pat Swan Week-end 2018 in Brú Ború, Cashel, Co.Tipperary. Enjoying the music are Colm’s dad Tony and also Donncha Ó Cinnéide who is one of the organisers of the festival and who does extraordinary work on an ongoing basis in promoting our cultural heritage, particularly through his programmes on Tipp. Mid West Radio.
