The All-Ireland winning Newly Composed Tune for 2014 called “Samphire Island” composed and played by Donagh McElligott, CCÉ, Lixnaw, Co. Kerry. Enjoying the tune after the Competition are Donagh’s parents and friends including Eamonn Ó hArgáin (also from Lixnaw) who became Úachtarán or President of Comhaltas in 2021.
