The current All-Ireland 12-15 Fiddle Champion Laoise Kennedy from Ormond Comhaltas in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, plays her recently composed Reel, appropriately called “The Half Door” where this recording was made in Nenagh in April 2023. Laoise is accompanied by Jack McGrath, the current 12-15 Miscellaneous Instruments Champion from Ballycommon CCÉ. Incidentally Laoise also won the Newly Composed Tune Competition in 2022.
