The death of Joe Mannix, Dunmanway took place unexpectedly on yesterday, Friday January 21st. Joe was involved in the formation of Ath Caoire CCÉ 25 years ago and was in Dunmanway CCÉ prior to that. He was also the Ath Caoire CCÉ delegate to Cork County Board up to the present day. He was well known in Comhaltas circles as the leader and teacher of the Ath Caoire set dancing group and over the year he taught set dancing to many people in West Cork and also abroad. Joe will be sadly missed by all. Funeral Arrangment ============= His remains will be waked Sunday, 23 January at the home of Fiona & Brendan Shorten, Dunmanway – up the hill from The Square, 2nd left & 2nd house on left *between 3.30pm and 7.30pm*.
