The 12th Gerry Whelan Memorial weekend will be taking place in Cootehill, Co. Cavan from the 16th - 18th September. It is a weekend of music, singing and dancing.
Memorial concert including Guest Artists: Colum Sands and Karen Tweed, George McAdam, Daithí Gormley, Caoimhe Kearns, Oisín Morrison, Eibhlís Ní Shúilleabháin, Seamus Fay, Cootehill CCE.
Cavan Bucks and Armagh Group Seisiún.
Workshops on: Fiddle, Button Accordion, Banjo, Flute and Tin Whistle
Other Events Include: Singing & Storytelling, Caint agus Comhrá, Gig Rig, Rambling House, Folk Club and Pub Sessions
