Keady will hold Armagh’s Fleadhanna on the weekend of 25th May, with an opening concert tomorrow evening at 7:30pm at the Tommy Makem Centre with surprise special guest in store. This will be followed by a music session in Cassie’s Bar in the town. From 9:30am on Saturday (26th May), there will be music, song and dance competitions as well as ionad buail isteach Gaeilge in St Patrick’s High School, Keady. That afternoon a musical ‘gig-rig’ takes place in the town centre from 2pm, with music, song and exhibitions of Sean Nós, Céilí, Brush and Barrel dances, with a Saturday night session trail in local bars following. The Sunday will see the end of the Armagh Fleadh with a céilí band performance in The Caledonian Inn from 3-6pm and a singing session in the Old Northern Bank at 8pm that evening.
