This year’s Fleadh Nua celebrity concert “Images of ‘57 promises to be a unique evening of music and memories as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first Fleadh Cheoil an Chláir in Miltown Malbay on the 4th and 5th August 1957 with the music and musicians of Clare and in particular, the legendary Laichtín Naofa Ceili Band. Producer, Joe O’Connor is putting together a formidable array of artistes both young and old for the night. Performers will include The Laichtín Naofa Ceili Band, Michael Mahony, Marty Marrinan, Chris Droney, Kitty Hayes and Peter Laban, Séamus Mac Mathúna, Vincent Griffin, and Ceoltóirí Laichtín Naofa.
