Drumshanbo Comhaltas will host a session for the late Ciaran Emmett. Son of Mrs Tessie Emmett and the late J.T., Ciaran’s death in his forties after a relatively short illness was heard of with deep sorrow and sadness by all with whom he had been acquainted.
Ciaran was a gifted musician and comic and he possessed the rare ability of being able to play numerous instruments. He particularly loved to play in Drumshanbo and especially in Gunnings Pub. The Session for Ciaran will take place on Sunday afternoon 11th March starting at 3 pm and going on until late. We especially welcome friends and family of Ciaran and the session as usual in Drumshanbo will be open to all musicians, singers and dancers.
