Come and enjoy the cream of Clare’s Irish traditional musicians, singers and dancers who were all prizewinners at the 2008 All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil in Tullamore. The concert takes place in Cois na hAbhna on Saturday, 4 October and will commence at 8.00pm. If you are also a musician, be sure to bring along your instrument as there’s likely to be a few tunes in the Bar once the concert is over.
This year the Banner County won the highest number of trophies at the Fleadh and this will be an opportunity for the people of Clare to express their appreciation to the performers who made this possible. Not only were they highly talented but they also made those extraordinary efforts that are required in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive Irish traditional music scene.
