Kíla in Concert at Cultúrlann na hÉireann
Kíla are celebrating their 25th year since the band begun. They were classmates who put a band together to enter the national competition Slógadh. Since then they have gone on to record 15 Albums have travelled to 33 countries and co-composed music for the oscar nominated Irish animation feature film ‘The Secret of Kells’.
Kíla will be doing two shows on Thursday 7th March at An Chultúrlann. As part of their Kíla 25 celebrations the evening concert is the first of 7 around Dublin and will be focusing on the music from their first two releases Groovin and Handles Fantasy and will mix them through their music from the present performances.
They are also going to do their highly regarded children’s show which will be an excellent way to introduce you kids to Kíla’s joy of music.
