Macalla na hÉireann, the 2013 Comhaltas Concert Tour of Ireland will cover 14 venues from the 13th to the 26th of October. The annual Tour features the best of traditional talent drawn from all four Provinces of Ireland. The Tour will arrive in County Sligo on Monday the 21st of Oct at 8.30pm in the Comhaltas Regional Resource Centre, Ceoláras Coleman, Gurteen, Co. Sligo.
Tickets for the tour are once again generously sponsored by Bus Éireann and Foras na Gaeilge and cost €12, available by contacting 00 353 (0)71 9182599. Each year the tour assembles a fine mix of established artistes together with up-and-coming young stars. These are blended together into a fast-moving and colourful show that appeals to both the connoisseurs and peripheral fans of Irish traditional entertainment.
The annual tour features the best of traditional talent drawn from all four Provinces of Ireland and this group of musicians and dancers will act as great cultural ambassadors for Irish Traditional Culture and for Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.
